TEACHING and COACHING:

Rochelle has maintained a private Voice and Piano Studio for over 25 years. Comfortable teaching a variety of vocal styles, students study belt/mix/legit, classical, and sacred with a healthy technique in a supportive environment. Piano teaching is music-reading based, not playing by ear. Her vocal students have gone on to full scholarships for Universities and Conservatories, prestigious summer programs, and many are paid cantors in local churches. She has also taught at The Hartt School of Music and UConn Continuing Education.

Rochelle received degrees from the College of the Holy Cross, University of North Carolina at Wilmington, a Masters in Vocal Performance from The New England Conservatory, and an Honorary Doctorate in Music from the College of the Holy Cross. She has been the Music Director for various musical theater productions, currently including Stepping Stone Community Theater an inclusive theater company in Whitinsville, MA . She is also the Director of Music at St. Thomas & St. Timothy Parish in West Hartford CT, where she teaches on the weekends, as well as at her spacious home studio in Holland, MA during the week.
